How to Use a Wax Melt
1. Set up your warmer
-
Electric warmer: Plug it in and turn it on.
-
Tea-light warmer: Place an unscented tea light candle in the bottom dish.
2. Add the wax melt
-
Place 1–2 cubes (or one piece) of wax in the top dish of the warmer.
-
Don’t add water or oils — the wax itself releases fragrance when melted.
3. Let it melt
-
As the wax warms, it will liquefy and release fragrance into the air.
-
It can take a few minutes to fill the room with scent.
4. Turn off or extinguish
-
Electric warmer: Turn it off when you’re done.
-
Tea-light warmer: Let the candle burn out naturally or blow it out when finished.
5. Re-use or replace the wax
-
When the wax no longer smells, let it cool and harden.
-
Remove it by:
-
Popping it out when solid, or
-
Warming it slightly and wiping out the softened wax with paper towels.
